Chinese Association for clean technologies in 103 years, July 25 (Friday), the Lecture Hall of the National Taipei University of technology, held high-tech building (FAB) seminar on energy simulation software to function and application of FES. High-tech industry (mainly in semiconductors and opto-electronic industry) for high energy-consuming industries, its energy consumption directly affects its production cost is also indirectly responsible for pollution of the environment, andHigh-tech building (high tech fabrication plant, known as Fab) will in the future be included in big energy users, energy-saving goals.In order to explore various air-conditioning system energy consumption in National Taipei University of technology clean technology research and Development Center at the Ministry of technology and supported by Ministry of science and technology to develop a high-tech plant-specific energy consumption simulation software (Fab Energy Simulation, FES) as Fab design and evaluation of energy-saving case.

The origin:
Department of energy as part of economic "nationwide energy-saving actions", big industrial energy users saving target was set over the next 5 years average annual energy-saving rate of 1%, power-saving rate did not reach the goal should present a report and improvement plan to the MOEA approval and implementation (Ministry of energy official websitewww.moeaboe.gov.tw Publish date: 2014-06-19). General building energy analysis software, its handling of air conditioning systems for outside air mixing with air and then by the centralized air processing air conditioning systems, Fab air conditioning architecture for processing requires a lot of outside air introduced, nor does it include, process cooling water systems, compressed air systems, nitrogen systems, vacuum systems, water systems and exhaust systems of the factory system.

Uses:
- Facility engineer and ESCO companies quickly build integration factory and of the factory system of monthly and annual energy consumption data, as calculated on the basis of the energy-saving effectiveness (Baseline).
- Makes the engineers understand the machine using the UTILITY's energy situation, and thus to estimate production costs and build the machine energy-saving basis
- Can be used to produce the same (or similar) basis of comparison between energy consumption condition of the system, and as a basis for future plant system design.
- Import and export functions, can be remitted outside data, factory machines, pumps and other parameters, export function contains the components of the calculation results, charts, and MAU outlet air status table can also be used to analyze and evaluate a variety of energy-saving design results.
- Users can arrange their own export controls component and select components within the MAU, more in line with the actual situation.
- This seminar is intended for FES software features and applications are introduced, hoping to contribute, make Fab energy conservation promotion and far beyond.
